Silver Beads Lace on Black Tape, 2.7 cm
A black and silver beaded trim with three rows of small silver beads, 2.7 cm wide.
The base is a black woven tape with fine silver threads running along it, which give it a soft shimmer. On top sit three rows of tiny round silver beads. Each row has a gentle wave, so the beads catch the light from different angles.
The result is a rich, sparkly silver beads lace that still looks sleek, because black is the base colour.
It is a flat trim, so the beads lie close to the fabric. It works on sleeves, necklines and waistbands, where a hanging fringe would get in the way.

How to Use ?

Measure the edge you want to cover and add 2 to 3 cm extra for the ends.

Cut the lace with sharp scissors, then stitch across the cut ends so the beads stay in place.

Fold each end under and stitch it flat.

Pin the lace in place, keeping the bead rows straight.

Stitch along both edges with black thread, by hand or by machine. Keep the needle away from the beads.
