Pu Leather Lace

PU leather lace from ANI Accessories is a braided and rope-style trim made from PU (faux) leather. It gives jackets, dresses, belts and bags a crafted, leather-look edge, and it is easy to cut, stitch and work into custom designs. Every lace is sold in 2 metre lengths.

Leather lace styles in this collection

• Braided leather lace – a 1 cm (10 mm) braid in black, brown and dark brown, for piping, trims and slim straps.
• PU leather lace – a 1 cm braid in creme, black and brown. The creme shade makes a striking contrast trim on dark denim.
• Coiled braided leather lace – a 1 cm braid in black and brown.
• Braided leather lace tape – a wider braided tape in 2.2 cm and 2.5 cm, for belts, bag straps and statement bands.
• Rope style leather lace – a rope-look braid in 1.7 cm and 2.5 cm, in brown and black.

Is this genuine leather?

No. All laces in this collection are made from PU leather, a faux leather with a leather-like look.

How do I attach leather lace to a garment?

Most designers machine-stitch it along the centre of the braid. A heavier needle, such as a denim needle, helps on the wider tapes. On curved edges like collars, ease the lace around the curve while stitching.
