Blue Silver Chain Lace Border, 2.5 cm
A blue lace border with two silver chains, 2.5 cm wide.
The top and bottom are two bands of soft blue loops, in a muted denim shade. Between them sits a white sheer mesh, and on it run two silver chains: a bold chain with large oval links, and below it a fine chain with small links.
The sheer centre lets the fabric show through, so the chains look as if they float on the garment. The blue and silver pair is cool and fresh, a change from the usual gold.
It is a blue lace that works for Indian suits and kurtis as well as denim and western wear.

How to Use ?

Measure the edge you want to cover and add 2 to 3 cm extra for the ends.

Cut the lace with sharp scissors. Open the chain links with pliers at the cut, so no loose link hangs out.

Fold each end under and stitch it flat.

Pin the lace in place, keeping the chains straight.

Stitch along both blue bands with matching thread, by hand or by machine. Keep the needle away from the chains.
- Do not iron on the chains. Press the fabric from the wrong side.
