Black Studded Faux Leather Metal Eyelet Lace, 1 cm

A black faux leather strip with round silver studs, 1 cm wide.

The strip has a fine pebbled grain, just like real leather, with a soft matte finish. Down the centre runs a single row of domed silver studs, set at even gaps. The studs are smooth and shiny, so they stand out clearly against the black.

At just 1 cm, it is a slim studded leather trim. It is narrow enough for necklines, cuffs and straps, and strong enough to use on its own as a choker, bracelet or bag strap.

The look is edgy and modern: black leather and silver metal, the classic biker and rock combination. It suits western wear as well as Indo-western and fusion styles.

How to Use ?

For sewing:

• Measure the edge you want to cover and add 2 to 3 cm extra for the ends.
  
• Cut the strip between two studs, never through a stud. Faux leather does not fray, so no folding is needed.
  
• Hold it in place with clips, not pins, so it does not leave holes.
  
• Stitch along both edges with black thread, using a leather or denim needle and a long stitch. Keep the
• needle away from the studs.

For crafts:

• Cut the length you need, for example wrist or neck size plus 2 cm.
  
• Fix the ends with a clasp, snap button or strong fabric glue.
